They say nothing focusses the mind like a deadline.
With a baby due to arrive imminently this client rallied their builder to complete the attic extension and extensive remodelling in record time.
It did, however, leave them with many aspects unfinished and details overlooked.
Over the course of two and half years, my skills have been employed to provide the finishing details.

Everything from fitting our kitchen to building a closet under the steps to bespoke floors - Rob is a problem solver and a craftsman. He is clever, thinking through problems with a designer’s eye. For our floors he fitted new ones but also did patchwork to existing floors where walls had been knocked down. He turned a fix it job into a centrepiece to our home. He also created a beautiful oak step leading to our roof terrace. Again, he turned a functional need into a site of beauty. For our closet he repurposed an antique door, so it looks like it’s been there for 100 years. He even, through some Ikea hacks, gave us storage without breaking the bank.”
